About Skye

Hello and welcome to this little space, new friend ♡

I’m Skye and I have two cats. Honestly, that probably sums me up pretty well already hehe… but let me tell you a little more about the story behind From Skye and the vision I have for this space ⋆.ೃ࿔*:･

I launched From SkyeN Clothing in September 2024 with the help of my mum who helped sort and send clothing from overseas to Australia for me. From taking photos of clothes in my little cosy apartment to attending weekend markets with friends, everything started from a small dream and a love for creativity and connection.

Along the way, I’ve met so many wonderful people and learned so much about myself which has truly been such a blessing. But balancing a full-time job while running a creative business became quite overwhelming at times and I started struggling to keep up with everything.

Fast forward to this year, I discovered the beautiful world of snail mail and completely fell in love with the sentimentality of creating little pieces of art and sending letters around the world. It inspired me to start drawing again and gave me the courage to take a leap of faith and create my own snail mail club alongside From SkyeN Clothing.

One of the things I love most about snail mail is how deeply connected it feels to slow living. My major is in Psychology and Criminology and one topic I’ve always been fascinated by is neuroplasticity and how the fast-paced world we live in has slowly rewired our brains to constantly rush, consume and shorten our attention spans. Through snail mail, I hope to curate beauty and creativity in a way that encourages us to slow down again, reconnect with ourselves and romanticise the little moments in life that bring us peace and joy.

If this sounds like the kind of space your heart has been searching for, I would truly love for us to become friends. Building meaningful connection through art, creativity and sentiment is one of the biggest visions I have for this little corner of the internet.
